Rules

launchbid is a public leaderboard. No ads, no algorithm, no revenue share. You pay to stand above everyone else, and the bid is the only thing that decides where you stand.

How ranking works

  • New listings are priced in whole US dollars, up to $999,999, and move $1 at a time. Bids already on the board keep their amount until they are raised or outranked.
  • The minimum for a new listing rises as the board grows: $1 to begin with, then $3 once the top bid reaches $30. Listings already below a raised minimum keep their amount, and can still go up $1 at a time.
  • Taking #1 costs at least $3 more than the current top bid. Paying less still puts you on the board at whatever rank that bid can take. Equal bids stay in the order they were placed — the older bid keeps the higher rank.
  • Ranks are recalculated the moment a payment clears, usually within a few seconds.

Raising an existing bid

  • To move up, submit the same website or @handle again with a higher amount.
  • Your new bid must be at least $1 above your current one.
  • You are only charged the difference between your current bid and the new one, not the full amount again.
  • Nobody can take your position by paying only that difference. They are bidding against your full amount, not the gap.

What you can list

  • A product website, or an X profile written as @yourhandle.
  • App Store, Play Store, GitHub, and similar platform links are keyed by their path, so different apps never share a bid.
  • Tracking query strings are ignored. Affiliate, referral, and campaign parameters are stripped before your link is stored.
  • Shortened links are replaced by wherever they actually point. Submit the real URL.
  • Chat and invite links are not allowed, including Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, Messenger, and Signal. This board is for products and profiles, not group chats.
  • Adult content is not allowed. Anything pornographic, NSFW, or hosted on an adult platform will be removed.
  • Malware, phishing, scams, and anything illegal in the country where it is hosted are not allowed.

Categories

  • Categories are purely for discovery. They have no effect on your rank.
  • If your product is in the wrong category, DM @VishalSoni1119 on X to have it changed.

After you pay

  • Your listing is public, and clicks go straight to the URL or profile you submitted, with tracking parameters stripped.
  • Checkout runs through Lemon Squeezy. Your card details never reach us.
  • Your title, description, and icon are read automatically from your page. If they come out wrong, DM @VishalSoni1119 on X.
  • A completed payment is what claims your rank.
